Optical Vacuum Coating Machine

Optical lens coating is one of the major application of the vacuum chamber coating machine. Goldstone use worldwide advanced technology and high quality components to provide you the customizing and flexible total solutions. The machine is applied optical film and electric film coating process, the glass, polymer, plastic and ceramic could be the available substrate for coating.With the diffirent components and module, the machine can produce various products like accuracy optical lens, glasses lens, IR filter, AR coating, wide band filter, cold reflector, ITO conductive film, CPL, VCD film and laser film, etc. We can develop the film process with customer together to match the technical requirement.

  

Chamber structure is employed in the equipment with the entire pumping system installed on its back wall by flange, which makes it convenient to maintain, disassemble and clean.  The evaporating chamber is made of SU304 stainless steel with a removable water cooling jacket. The outside of the chamber is covered with cooling pipes with cooling or hot water flowed in. Water-cooling baffle is installed at the inlet of diffusion pump and a swing out protective plate is settled between the vacuum chamber and pumping system.

High efficient vacuum pump system guarantee the cycle time at any ultimate conditions on the coating machine. Chinese famous pump or Germany Leybold, USA Varian products could be selected for this machine. The system is composed of high-performance oil diffusion pump, Roots pump and one rotary pumps. You can use turbo pump, dry pump and cryopump for hyper vacuum applications.The system can provide a short pump down time less than 15 minutes from atmosphere to 5 X10-3 Pa. The freon trap is reserved on the mouth of the diffusion pump and Polycold deep chilling system will be installed at necessary applications.

 For some high-grade coating, the refrigerator or Polycold system could be selected as the option to achieve a quick and higher vacuum.

 One or two electron beam evaporator(s) is installed depending on customer's requirement. The beam evaporator includes a high voltage power supply, an electric gun and the water-cooling crucible with cavities. The crucible could rotate either clockwise or anti-clockwise. The rotary speed is adjusted from 0.2 to 2 rpm. In our high-class machine, the magnetic seal is adopted for crucible movement. The deflection of electron beam is 270 degree. The evaporator is rated 5 KW and the current is adjustable from 0 to 750 mA. The beam can be deflected in the X and Y axle to allow the position of the electron beam across the crucible surface.

The eletric beam gun is used for coating the medium material like SiO2, MgF, Al2O3, ZrO... 

For plastic lens coating, suggest use the Polycold system to reduce the vacuum pumping time as well increase vacuum degree. You can choice Chinese products or we reserve the interface for other better foreigner product.

Oscillating thickness measuring

Equipped with MDC-360, the coating process could achieve automatically control and the measuring precision of oscillating is higher than optical measuring.
